CityKidz Regina Funds
The Community Foundation and CityKidz Regina are establishing a Fund in two parts known as CityKidz Regina Legacy Fund; and CityKidz Regina Facility Fund.
CityKidz Regina exists to increase resiliency and inspire BIG DREAMS for children living in low-income communities, through inspirational experiences and nurturing personal relationships, one child at a time.
Our BIG DREAM: We hope to see an end to child poverty, one day, in the not so distant future.
Donations to this Legacy Fund grow over time and will support our programs and projects for many years to come.
Donations to this Facility Fund will help us in our long term commitments and setting up a reserve for emergencies.

CityKidz programs are a stable force of love and support for kids throughout their formative childhood years. We teach our kids that they matter, that they are loved, and that they can change their future – and with it, the world.
Each week, our bus picks up dozens of kids at their homes and brings them to our downtown theatre for an interactive performance and a meal. Through songs and skits, our kids learn important lessons built on faith, hope and love that encourage them to believe in themselves, serve others, and have hope for the future. Some of the programs we offer include:
Saturday program is for children aged 5-12, a game show format that teaches the children that there is a plan and purpose for their life; that they are loved and cared for; it is great to be a child; and always do what’s right.
Wednesday evening is for youth aged 12-17, there are a variety of options for youth – youth group where the youth learn leadership skills through lessons, games and team building; Drama for youth 13+; and RoadMaps for 17+ where they continue with leadership skills and career planning.
Summer – perhaps more than any other season – has the potential to provide experiences that produce life-changing moments and long-lasting memories. It is a time of adventure and discovery, of growth and curiosity.
CityKidz’ Summer to Remember works alongside local camps to provide children with opportunities for new, life-changing and memory-making experiences at summer camp.
A Home Visit consists of CityKidz volunteers stopping briefly at each child’s home, connecting with their family, and talking with the kids about the things most important to them.
Through Home Visits, we get to truly know our kids and serve their needs – whether that means an encouraging word before a science fair presentation or connecting their family with local resources and services.

CityKidz Regina Facility Fund
These funds are to assist CityKidz Regina for long term commitments and setting up a reserve for emergencies. At this time, CityKidz Regina is building reserves to allow us to move into our own Facility – A CityKidz Regina Playhouse Theatre, were the children and youth know they have a safe place and can feel at home. The Theatre will allow us to impact more children and provide more nutritional meals as we build a commercial kitchen and have a Drama Studio to continue to expand the Drama Club.
