This is a bittersweet moment for all of us at SSCF. Today we are announcing the retirement of Karen Henders, SSCF’s Director of Community & Grant Stewardship. Karen will be with us until the end of June and will continue to lead community engagement, granting activities, and the Vital Signs Community Network until then.
During her time at SSCF, Karen has provided incredible leadership and has been a catalyst to connect the charitable sector across south Saskatchewan. Karen’s beautiful smile, her commitment to the well-being of community and collegial work ethic along with her entertaining stories about her experiences in the film industry will be missed by SSCF staff and Board. While Karen will soon be enjoying retirement, her impact at SSCF will be felt for many years to come.
