For the past 50 plus years, Shirley Schneider has been a positive force for teen mothers. Through the Shirley Schneider Support Centre and the Mackenzie Infant Care Centre she has made it possible for thousands of young moms to successfully graduate from high school and become the best moms they can possibly be. Shirley has been involved on numerous community boards, groups and associations including the Regina Housing Authority, the Royal United Services Institute in Regina and a member of the German Canadian Harmonie Club, just to name a few.

Shirley has been recognized for outstanding contributions to our society, including the Saskatchewan Order of Merit, as well as the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteerism. She is married to Larry Schneider, is the mother of three adult children, grandmother to five very clever grandchildren and is very proud of her great-grandson.
