Greg Swanson, Chair of the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation (SSCF) welcomes Donna Ziegler as the incoming Executive Director beginning December 3, 2018.
Ms. Ziegler joins SSCF from the Canadian Cancer Society, Saskatchewan Division, where she served as a Director and member of their senior management team for more than eleven years. For the past two decades, her experience has focused on engaging diverse stakeholders to build strong relationships and helping organizations meet their goals. She is a dynamic and highly motivated professional with a strong leadership and a collaborative team-based focus.
Ms. Ziegler is currently a trustee with the Regina Catholic School Board and has served as a sessional instructor at the University of Regina Centre for Continuing Education. She also sits on the Board of the Saskatchewan Hospice Palliative Care Association.
She holds a Masters of Communications with special focus on International and Intercultural Communications from Royal Roads University, Victoria, B.C.
Swanson also extended appreciation to Cheryl Zankl who has served as interim Executive Director of SSCF over the past few months and looks forward to the Foundation’s 50th anniversary celebration in 2019.
