Caron & Masney Family Legacy Fund
In memory of our cherished mothers and grandmothers, we established the Caron & Masney Family Legacy Fund to create a lasting positive impact for generations to come. This fund will support Indigenous Initiatives throughout Saskatchewan.
About Grandma Masney
Grandma Masney (Margaret) was a remarkable woman who raised 10 children and welcomed over 30 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren into her family before her passing. Her legacy continues to grow each year. A proud member of the Keeseekoose First Nation and a survivor of the St. Philips Residential School, she dedicated her life to her family, relishing time spent at hockey games and supporting her children and grandchildren in all their activities. She devoted her spare time to volunteering and sharing her cultural wisdom with schools and First Nation organizations.

About Grandma Caron
Grandma Caron (Marie) also had 11 children and enjoyed a family of over 30 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren, with her family continuing to expand. Although we couldn’t formally secure her Indigenous Status during her lifetime, we later established her heritage from Cowessess First Nation. She loved her family deeply and had a special affection for the Toronto Blue Jays and her many pets. Grandma Caron cherished moments spent fishing, camping, going on road trips, playing cards and dice, baking, cooking, and watching her favorite shows, always bringing her joyful spirit to every occasion.
