John Coflin and Joanne Skidmore were born in Saskatchewan and raised in families who believed in the importance of supporting their communities through connecting to a variety of non-profit organizations. Throughout their years together, living in Saskatoon and Regina, Joanne and John have carried on that tradition by using their skills, time, and money, to help non-profit groups achieve their goals. John’s work background was in supporting the families of people with intellectual disabilities, and Joanne’s work background was in book publishing and then in the news media.
John and Joanne want to continue assisting organizations in the areas of arts/culture and social services through donations from the Coflin Skidmore Community Fund.
