“To safeguard democracy, the people must have a keen sense of independence, self-respect and their oneness.” This quote from Sir Winston Churchill encapsulates the spirit of the Honourable Randy Weekes Strengthening of Parliamentary Democracy Legacy Fund, which aims to support students who share this commitment.
Priority will be given to students of under-represented groups (Indigenous, women, 2SLGBTQIA, persons with disabilities, and visible minorities), as well as low-income students. This award is a testament to Randy Weekes commitment to inclusivity and diversity within the Political Science community.
