The passion2action INSPIRE Foundation Fund supports youth leadership in Saskatchewan, funding programs that empower young people to be active citizens and community leaders for generations to come.
INSPIRE is passion2action’s flagship youth empowerment event dedicated to introducing Saskatchewan youth to inspiring local role models, raising awareness for important local and global issues, and helping young people recognize their potential to be active citizens and community leaders.
passion2action recognized the importance of a provincial event to celebrate youth leadership and stepped up to host the first INSPIRE event in October 2018. From the beginning, the event has been entirely youth-led and focused on telling the stories of inspiring young leaders from right here, in Saskatchewan.
Over the years, we have welcomed incredible leaders to the INSPIRE stage, from young entrepreneurs and local Indigenous leaders to champion dancers and award-winning musicians. Each year, the goal is to ensure that every students sees someone on stage that helps them to realize their own potential and who can serve as a new, local role model.
passion2action INSPIRE is now Saskatchewan’s largest celebration of young leaders.
From humble beginnings, the event has grown into a provincial celebration that now engages students from Uranium City to Estevan and everywhere in between. Whether schools join the event in-person or tune in virtually to the livestream broadcast, passion2action INSPIRE brings together thousands of students from across Saskatchewan to celebrate young leaders in our province each May.
To date, the event has engaged more than 32,000 students in 50+ Saskatchewan communities.
The passion2action INSPIRE Foundation Fund serves to support youth-serving organizations in Saskatchewan that encourage active citizenship and support leadership development.
More than a one-day event, the INSPIRE celebration aims to foster a generation of young leaders in Saskatchewan that contribute to our communities – now and in the future.
Granting decisions from the passion2action INSPIRE Foundation Fund will be made each year by a youth-led committee of former INSPIRE speakers, organizers, and attendees. Across the province, schools are encouraged to raise funds in the weeks leading up to the INSPIRE celebration each year and we welcome donations from community members.
