Organizational Overview
Regina Work Prep has been empowering individuals in our community for over 50 years. Through comprehensive programs, we have helped more than 20,000 individuals gain the pre-employment skills needed to secure and maintain employment. Our diverse programs address barriers to employment and promote personal growth, skill development, and resilience.
Purpose of Funding
This reserve fund plays a vital role in sustaining all of our programs and services. It helps us meet the needs of our clients, support staff, and ensure that no program is disrupted, even during funding gaps or unforeseen financial challenges. By maintaining this fund, we can continue to offer critical services that help individuals overcome barriers to employment and build better futures.
Programs and Services
Created in collaboration with the Canadian Career Development Foundation (CCDF), this program helps participants unlock their potential and create fulfilling lives.
- In Motion (3 weeks): Focuses on self-discovery, strengths, skills, and vision development.
- Momentum (4 weeks): Expands the vision with community engagement and action steps.
- Momentum+ (3 weeks): Provides ongoing support to achieve goals and sustain progress.
For over a decade, this program has supported individuals with recent criminal justice system involvement. It provides tailored services, including:
- Life skills, employability skills, and career exploration.
- Digital literacy and technology access.
Workforce re-entry and community collaboration.
A free program designed to enhance participants’ computer literacy with training in Microsoft Office, typing, and internet navigation—essential skills for today’s job market.
Offering free access to computers and job search resources, the CRC supports nearly 3,000 job seekers annually with resume building, cover letters, and online job applications.
Using cutting-edge VR technology, Regina Work Prep helps clients explore careers in an immersive and safe environment. AI-enabled simulations enhance soft skills like communication, teamwork, and leadership, preparing clients for success in their careers.

- Urban First Nation and Métis individuals.
