Grant has been a financial planner for 45 years. He sold his business in 2020 and now works for the new owners focusing on insurance strategies, estate planning and philanthropy. This focus, along with his belief in the work of the Community Foundation, prompted him to volunteer on the board. As a business owner, Grant supported the Regina United Way literacy program by providing libraries in elementary school classrooms. He volunteered on the Regina Symphony Orchestra board for two terms and started his family foundation at the Community Foundation which he hopes will encourage philanthropy for his children and grandchildren.
