We are excited to share the news that a brand new season of our Planting Seeds: Philanthropy in Saskatchewan show is out now! This show aims to connect viewers to the community impact happening within the province, and to connect both donors and charities to the amazing work being done within Saskatchewan. Through this show, the Community Foundation creates opportunities for viewers to experience heartfelt stories charities share, and how empowering donors have fueled that impact.
In Season 2, we sit down with a wide variety of charitable organizations and discussed important topics such as how fundraising efforts help to improve healthcare within the province, how collaborations resulted in empowering Indigenous peoples within the community, how the work these charities do help to increase community access to supportive housing, and creating a more simple and welcoming process for accessing services for families.
We also spoke to organizations who work with the Non-profit sector and how they support charitable organizations by providing marketing expertise, granting opportunities, and unique supports using an equity and queer inclusive lens.
All 12 episodes of Season 2 can be found on our Planting Seeds: Philanthropy in Saskatchewan Page, along with all 12 episodes from Season 1.
