Executive Director

As a leader in philanthropy, Donna works to empower staff, donors, and the community to create lasting impact. She guides the organization in using its resources effectively to strengthen the charitable and nonprofit sector in Saskatchewan. Donna’s role includes overseeing operations, financial stewardship, and governance while fostering collaboration with donors, community leaders, businesses, and government organizations. By building strong partnerships, Donna helps to ensure that our community has the resources needed to address challenges both today and in the future.

She holds a Master’s in Communication and certifications as a Master Financial Advisor for Philanthropy, Mindfulness Facilitator, and Associate Certified Coach, along with Executive Leadership Training. Passionate about community involvement, Donna has volunteered for major city-wide events, including the Grey Cup, Junos, and Saskatchewan Summer Games. In her free time, Donna enjoys staying active through yoga, walking groups, Zumba, and pickleball.

Donna values connection—to family, community, and the land—rooted in her upbringing on a farm in Saskatchewan. As a proud Nana to five little ones and a pet parent to Tucker, Donna cherishes time with loved ones, driving through the prairies, and playing pickleball. She also has a deep appreciation for music, especially from the ’80s. Donna finds inspiration in the words found in Mr. Fred Rogers book The World According to Mister Rogers: “One of the greatest dignities of humankind is that each successive generation is invested in the welfare of each new generation.”
