Marc supports the Community Foundation’s communications by managing its social media platforms and creating engaging content that builds and connects with the community. He works to expand audience reach through thoughtful, consistent messaging and creative ideas that highlight the Foundation’s impact. Marc’s work involves scheduling content, sharing fresh insights, and contributing new ideas to strengthen the Foundation’s online presence. He plays an important role in fostering meaningful connections between the Foundation and its supporters. Through this, Marc is also gaining valuable experience in digital communication and community outreach.
Currently acting as the VP Merchandise for the Hill Business Students’ Society, Marc oversees the design, production, and distribution of branded apparel for business students at the University of Regina. In this role, he applies his creative and organizational skills to manage both the merchandise and the society’s Hill Collection Instagram account. Previously, he contributed as an apparel designer on the merchandise team, gaining hands-on experience in graphic design and social media management.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Marc moved to Canada two years ago and is currently studying Business at the University of Regina. He enjoys staying active through the gym and exploring new sports, recently trying rugby, golf, rock climbing, and tennis. Curious and open-minded, Marc has a passion for learning about different cultures and traditions, and loves watching TED Talks and studying history. A quote he lives by is, “If you’re going to try go all the way. If not, don’t even try at all.”
