Working at the Community Foundation as a summer student was a truly transformative experience. During my time as a student, I had the opportunity to take on a diverse array of tasks that supported both my personal and professional growth.
At the Community Foundation, you have the opportunity as a summer student to take responsibility for your work. You are empowered to take initiative and ownership of the tasks you complete and supported by a variety of resources – including a staff-student mentorship program, the surrounding student team, and regular meetings and training on the broader impact the Foundation makes in the community.
The work environment at the Community Foundation is incredibly supportive. The team is very caring and always looking for ways to create a stronger Saskatchewan. Their support, along with the opportunity to watch the Friendraiser come to life, has truly made my time as a student a standout experience.
