Summer Student Program

Karley Stangel is a Community Outreach Student at the SSCF. She primarily works in event planning, community outreach, and media relations. She focuses on the areas of communication, and prioritizes creating lasting and impactful relationships between the SSCF and members of the community. Karley is also a driving force behind the SSCF’s upcoming Instagram page. 

Karley currently holds a certificate in Public Relations, and is finishing up her degree in Education at the University of Regina. Her writing has also been published several times throughout the Saskatchewan Writers Guild Windscript Magazine. Karley has ample experience working with diverse populations, specifically troubled youth and people with disabilities. Karley’s passion for making a difference in the community began when her family launched the Chase Kraynick “Pay it Forward” campaign in memory of her cousin. This instilled the practice in her that no act of kindness is too small, and that everyone has the power to make a difference. Karley continues to carry these values into her work at the Foundation, and hopes to continue making a lasting impact.
