Armaan is our Events Coordinator. His role is planning and coordinating events at the Community Foundation. He is passionate about the community and looks to make an impact through the Community Foundation.
Armaan is heading into his third year of business, majoring in marketing at the University of Regina. Not only is he involved in the Regina Youth Flag Football League (RYFFL) and Regina Adult Flag Football League (AFFL) as a referee, Armaan also volunteers as the basketball coach at Wilfred Hunt Elementary School.
In his spare time, he likes to keep active, playing in multiple basketball and football leagues, enjoys watching sports, travelling and working out. Armaan is a friendly, outgoing person who is very passionate about helping others within the community.
Trina Owens joined the Community Foundation in February 2025 and is excited to lead a high-energy growth team whose heart and talents are connecting with others to create a brighter community.
Trina has worked at Canada Life for the past decade, the Canadian Cancer Society, and World Vision Canada, all of which adds to her extensive presence and experience within the charitable sector. Her heart and passion lie with bringing people’s philanthropic wishes to life, and continuing to support them through their estate planning journey. She has been on the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP) board for 8 years in multiple roles and is currently the Treasurer. Trina is also the Past Chair of National Philanthropy Day, her favorite day of the year! In 2022 she achieved her Masters, Financial Advisor in Philanthropy (MFA-P) designation.
