The Foundation is excited to announce its first event of 2024: the Women Supporting Women Legacy of Kindness Breakfast! This elegant event is aimed to celebrate women who support and impact the community with their time, talent, and treasures. Engage with up to 10 deeply moving stories from organizations like YWCA and SOFIA House that, these narratives share the lifelines of hope and resilience. Inspiring Speakers like Shirley Schneider and Panelists like Lisa from Transition House will provide insights from a leader and change maker point of view.
You will also be immersed in the world of Barbie, as the theme of the event is reflective of what this icon represents. Barbie has encouraged kindness and strength in all generations. She empowers girls and women to choose their own destinies, make a difference however they can, and dream of a better tomorrow for everyone.
The breakfast will take place at the Saskatchewan Hotel on February 6, 2024, and all proceeds will go towards the SSCF Vital Community Women and Children’s Fund to support those facing housing, food, mental health, and economic challenges.
