On Friday, May 24th the Community Foundation celebrated a newly-formed partnership with the Lorne and Evelyn Johnson Foundation (LEJF) with a light breakfast and a variety of impactful stories. Guests heard from charity representatives who have continued to be positively impacted by the LEJF’s support.
This historic $7.5M partnership sees the LEJF moving their funds directly under the Community Foundation’s umbrella. This will have an immense impact on the local charitable sector, and the impact that the Community Foundation and LEJF can continue to ignite, together.
Thank you to Ian Yates (Regina Symphony Orchestra), Judge William Vancise (Director of Lorne and Evelyn Johnson Foundation), Curtis Kleisinger (Mother Teresa Middle School), and Steve Compton (YMCA of Regina), for lending your inspiring words at the event. Please take a moment to formally welcome LEJF to the Community Foundation family!
