Vibya Natana is a South Sudanese-Canadian based in Treaty 4 Territory, Regina, SK. She is a social worker who currently works in the mental healthcare and community development sectors, advancing the missions of several organizations both professionally and as an avid volunteer.

Vibya is passionate about supporting marginalized communities through consciousness-raising (supporting efforts to bring awareness to social issues through education and relationship building), and developing inclusive systems (through policy advocacy, research partnerships, and more).

Vibya is also an experienced speaker and facilitator having prior engagements with institutions such as the Canadian Public Relations Society, Government of Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Health, Luther College, Saskatchewan Association of Black Social Workers, Truly Alive Youth & Family Foundation, and more. She is proud to consistently learn and collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds across all of the initiatives she contributes to, whom she considers some of her greatest teachers!
