Jakaeden began his term on our Foundation’s board in July of 2023. He is a law student and JD/MBA candidate at the University of Saskatchewan set to graduate in 2024. With a background in professional development and sport, Jakaeden places a strong focus on community, volunteering, and capacity building. He served as the Chairperson of the Law Students Association at the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Law from 2021-2023, summered with McKercher LLP in 2022 and 2023, and will article with the firm upon graduation. Jakaeden hopes to contribute to the legal and governance expertise of our Foundation’s board.
