Yanjanani Mwape is a student at Carleton University, currently in their third year pursuing a Bachelor of Law degree with a Minor in Political Science. Alongside his academic pursuits, Yanjanani serves as a Student Office Support Coordinator here at the foundation, excelling in tasks that involve organizing files, managing information, and aiding in smooth office operations.
In 2023-2024, Yanjanani contributed actively to the Carleton University community by serving on the Board of Conduct, demonstrating leadership and commitment to upholding university standards and values. Looking ahead to the 2024-2025 academic year, Yanjanani will take on the role of Residence Fellow, where he will play a vital role in fostering educational priorities and learning goals within the Department of Housing and Residence Life Services at Carleton University.
Outside of academics and university roles, Yanjanani Mwape has a passion for golf, finding joy in playing the sport whenever the weather allows it. He is also an avid NBA fan, supporting the Philadelphia 76ers, and enjoys watching basketball games as a way to unwind and stay connected to their interests beyond the academic realm.
